What is the Member to Member Project Grant?

The Member to Member Project Grant is designed for CEA members to implement an educational project that would not otherwise be funded. Each project should focus on the improvement of student learning through quality teaching and learning that exceeds high, academic standards.

How is the Member to Member Project Grant funded?

The Member to Member Project Grant is funded by dues paid by members of the Chandler Education Association. Individual grants will be awarded in any amount not to exceed $200.

Selection Procedures

Each grant proposal will be reviewed by the Chandler Education Association Grant Committee using this rubric. Decisions will be made by the Chandler Education Association Grant Committee and grant recipients will be announced at the CEA Site Representative meeting on December 15, 2020. Grant recipients will be notified a week prior to the general meeting (approximately December 3) as your attendance in accepting your grant is strongly encouraged.

Application Procedures

The grant application process will open on Thursday, October 22, 2020. All Member to Member Project Grant applications should be submitted electronically on the CEA website by 5:00 pm on Tuesday, November 24, 2020. A confirmation of receipt will be sent to each applicant, but applicants are strongly encouraged to print a hard copy of their submission in case of technical difficulties.
